Product description

Beautiful coasters made of old oak wood with wonderful diagonal edges, giving the impression of shifted levels. The oak comes from old half-timbered beams from a burned-down forge near Gummersbach (NRW).

Manufactured with loving care.

This wood has experienced a lot and is a piece of history!

Dimensions: 7.7x7.7x0.8cm

Unmistakable with the real Kerbstück branding!

All of our products are made by hand. We tinker a lot and only that ends up in the shop that meets our high standards of quality and function, so that you have a life-long companion with your curb piece. As a finish, use our in-house board butter .

Care:

Clean by hand with water and, if necessary, a little washing-up liquid. From time to time with the Curb Board Butter or rub in food-safe oil (e.g. organic linseed oil). Not suitable for the dishwasher.
After prolonged use with many signs of wear, simply sand down, oil and it will immediately shine with new splendor.

A notice:

Every tree is unique. Therefore, each curb piece impresses with its individual wood grain and may differ from the products shown. In our products, we often process wood that is several hundred years old, which may have notches, cracks and old nail holes due to its history. We deliberately stage these artefacts as design elements in the finished product. This is not a defect.
Wood works - it is perfectly normal for wood to warp over time (mainly as a result of contact with water alternating with dry phases).
